    1. Yeah of course it was interrupted because soaps are shit to networks. They don't care if they piss people off by interrupting their shows. They can't freaking wait to show that crap during regular news hours. Don't get me wrong I think what happened with those shootings was terrible and I feel sorry for all those involved. It's just I think there are better times like I mentioned to cover that.

    3. A memorial service for 5 dead police officers does not qualify as "crap"

    1. There were only a few minutes of it, then there was a special news report (I'm assuming live coverage from the Dallas memorials)

5 hours ago - Tuesday, July 12, 2016's episode of General Hospital had to be pre-empted for ABC News coverage. We don't want you to miss an episode, ...

  6. The only people who got the full episode were in Canada or the western part of the US. The 2 pm and 3 pm ET viewers each only got part of the program. On days like this ABC.com should unblock the episodes for everyone and not only for people who have cable/satellite.

  7. And everyone includes people who subscribe to a cable system that doesn't pay ABC enough money (in ABC's opinion). I subscribe to Time Warner and can't log in to abc.go. ABC doesn't really care about soap fans.

    3. ABC should have just postponed General Hospital like it did for the memorial/funeral of all the celebrities. Would have been a much classier thing for them to do, to honor the 5 police who were heroes that day. Guess it's only ok to do it for famous people. :(

    1. Nowhere is there a full episode. There's an episode 7-11, which was named as 7-12. And there is still only the first 40 seconds. Or on utube there are two excerpts from episode 7-12 with a total duration of 5 minutes.
